One of the most time consuming and frustrating functions when tendering is finding all the information you require to put into the tender. For example you can recall a question similar to what you had last year, but you need to find that tender, and then find where in that tender you already answered a similar question. Most times this involved opening multiple files and searching many before you find or don't find the information you want.
You may have considered a tender resource bank before, only to be put off by high costs, license fees or specialist training for people to be able to use it.
Look no further, WIntenders resource bank uses MSWord, with a neat index of all your company information and method statements in 250 / 500 / 750 word formats; all easily retrievable from the index via internal hyperlinks. Simply find the information is the index. E.g. Outcome focussed PCP in 500 words, click on the link and it takes you straight there in the same document. Then cut and paste into your document, localise for the council and contract and add additional evidence if required.
For example, once you have your required method statement, you may need to find and replace (a function of MSWord) learning disability with learning difficulty to be correct for the Council you are bidding for, or for example a find and replace on 'service user' to change to 'person supported'.
You can also use the find function in the resource bank if what you require is not indexed. For example a search on positive behavioural support will retrieve all the method statements and references to this and you can then view and select what you require.
This is a really simple tool that saves a considerable amount of time and money when tendering (or even marketing), it is low cost and once completed you can choose to then keep it updated, or let us to do it if you don't have the time.
